I am currently on the job market.

My overall research aims to understand the role of gender in development policy design and implementation. I am a mixed-method researcher with a background in economics. I have previously worked with J-PAL South Asia and Duke University in India on projects at the intersection of gender, politics, and health. My current research uses the representative bureaucracy and social identity frameworks to understand how men and women design and implement policies differently, and its consequences on development outcomes of projects in aid organizations, specifically at the Asian Development Bank. I want to complement my past and current research by understanding how women matter in policymaking for programs and policies that impact the most vulnerable populations.
